Real Estate Home Appreciation - Last 12 Months

The median home price, the point at which half of all homes are sold for more and half are sold for less, dropped in July led by declines in the West and the Northeast. In the West, the median price fell to $202,300 from $219,600. It was also down 28.0 percent from the previous year.
The Northeast's median price sank to $236,700 in July from $248,200 in June. In a year-over-year comparison the price was down 15.0 percent.…
