Building Green just got easier in northern Nevada. The Builders Association of Northern Nevada launched their Sierra Green Guidelines. This is the first local green building program affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders Program. It is a voluntary program that encourages builders to rate their homes on the following criteria: Lot Design, resource efficiency, water efficiency, energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality and owner education.
